There is nothing like the pain that a parent feels when they learn that their brand new family member has sustained a birth injury that may impact their ability to progress physically or mentally as they grow. But this very situation happens every day and the parents of these injured children often want answers.
Usually, the answer is simple: a medical professional made a mistake during the course of labor which left the child and in some cases the mother, hurt. All medical professionals have a duty to follow the accepted standard of care and when they fail to do so, they can be held legally responsible through a form of medical malpractice lawsuit known as a birth injury lawsuit.
Our firm has helped hundreds of clients recover the compensation they need to pay for:
past and expected future medical expenses
past and expected future lost wages
physical pain and suffering
We know that this time is difficult and strive to help through excellent communication and legal assistance. We will review the case, contact witnesses, consult with medical experts, handle the paperwork, negotiate a settlement or, if necessary, take the matter to court.

Experienced & Passionate Lawyers Fighting For Compensation After A Car Crash
Attorneys Ready To Go Head To Head With Car Insurance Companies
It's easy to feel safe inside of a car with steel and glass separating passengers from the outside world, however, when two or more of these powerful machines slam into one another injuries are common and can change the way that a victim lives their life. Insurance companies are supposed to help the victims of a car crash but the reality is that these companies are businesses that are more interested in making money than they are with helping people. Once a policy limit has been reached, the payments will stop.
In order to stay financially safe, many car accident victims choose to pursue legal action against the driver or party who was at fault. Examples of negligent parties could include:
Under the law, if another driver fails to act responsibly and causes an accident or if a car company or manufacturer creates a dangerous product, they may find themselves named as the defendants in a lawsuit.

There are certain duties that the owner of a property owes any visitors and the most important one is a safe environment. It is expected that the owner or managers of a property will examine their property on a regular basis in order to determine if there are any hazards. When hazards are discovered, they must then either immediately repair the issue or place warning signs around the area.
Yet time and time again, hazards like broken steps, handrails, loose carpeting, and spilled liquids are left unattended and it's the visitors to the property that pay the price.
While it is true that sometimes someone falls and picks themselves back up with no harm done, many victims aren't that lucky and instead sustained injuries like broken bones, spinal damage, lacerations, and traumatic brain injury. Not only will this cause them physical pain but it will also leave them with thousands of dollars in medical bills.
At Monheit Law, we understand how confusing and stressful this time is. That's why we offer free initial consultations. We will review the case and determine who was at fault, then explain to the client what legal avenues are available to them. Then, you can determine what course of action is best for you and your loved ones.
Lawyer - Helping Employees Who Can't Go Back To Work
Workers' Compensation Is Difficult To Obtain Without An Attorney
Law Firm That Has Helped Clients Successfully Win Their Appeal
Seeking The Best Compensation Possible
Voted Top Workers' Comp Lawyer By Injured Workers
The average American spends the majority of their week at work and even if they don't love their job, the space they work in becomes familiar and feels generally safe - until an accident happens. Workplace accidents can happen anytime in any industry and when they do, employees often end up seriously hurt.
In PA, employers are required by law to have workers' compensation insurance, which is a policy that is designed to pay for the medical expenses and sometimes a fraction of the lost wages of an injured worker. Although the insurance is supposed to be "no-fault", insurance companies have found many ways to deny claims so that they can save the company money. Unfortunately, this leaves an innocent worker with no financial help on top of physical pain.
Although a denial can be appealed, the process is long and difficult and without an attorney to collect the necessary evidence and put pressure on the insurance companies, claims are often denied again.
While working through the workers' comp process, an attorney can also determine if a third party was at fault and if the employee is eligible to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. These lawsuits can provide additional compensation that would never be obtained through workers' comp and can be invaluable.

Ranked Best Law Firm For Famillies
Parents constantly worry about their children and for good reason - there are many ways for those children to become seriously injured in the world. In the past, our firm has represented clients whose children were harmed by:
School Bus Accidents
School buses have been used for decades to help children from all over attend school. But even if the bus driver is attentive and follows the rules of the road, other drivers often don't and accidents happen. The majority of school buses don't require children to wear seatbelts and so the injuries sustained in an accident can be catastrophic.
Pediatricians, nurses, and other medical professionals are supposed to take care of children, not cause them harm. Yet every year, hundreds of children sustain injuries and suffer because a true medical condition is left undiagnosed, all because the person treating them made a mistake.
Accidents At School
Schools, like any other property, are supposed to be safe. This means that if a hazard is detected, like spilled liquids or broken stairs, the issue needs to be corrected as soon as possible and in the meantime, students need to be warned about the hazard so they don't become hurt.
When a child is hurt, it can take months for them to heal and may require extensive medical care. This is why many parents chose to pursue a lawsuit against the responsible party. The compensation obtained through a lawsuit can pay for those medical bills and more.

Norristown, PA 19401 - 15 People Injured, Including Children In Bus Accident
All 14 students and the driver of a school bus were injured in a chain-reaction bus crash caused by a driver who police say was driving without a license. The accident occurred when the 46-year-old driver attempted to pass several wide-load tractor trailers on a section of road where passing wasn't legal. He then realized the school bus was coming towards him and veered into the wide-load escort vehicle, causing it to crash into the bus. He then proceeded to leave the scene of the accident although police were able to track him down and he was arrested.
Upper Merion Township, PA 19406 - Pedestrian Hit By Car On Dekalb Pike
At around 10:30 p.m., a 22-year-old woman was attempting to cross W. Dekalb Pike when a car traveling in the southbound lanes struck her. Although the driver stopped and administered CPR after calling 911, she died from her injuries.
In each of these cases, one party's negligence resulted in an accident which caused serious injuries or the death of someone who otherwise wouldn't have been hurt.
Don't Hesitate - Time To File A Lawsuit Is Running Out
In every personal injury case, there is a statute of limitations which means that the plaintiff only has a certain period of time to file their complaint. The length of time depends on the type of accident that occurred. Once the statute of limitations is reached, the victim will no longer be able to file a complaint to seek compensation.
How Much Are Complaints Worth?
The amount that a client may potentially recover varies case to case and is based on their actual losses. Coverable losses may include medical expenses, physical trauma, lost earnings, emotional turmoil, and in a few cases, punitive damages. In order for us to estimate how much you may be owed, we need to review your case. Contact us to learn more.
