The greater Philadelphia area is teeming with creatives. In the city and throughout Delaware County, Montgomery County, and other suburban areas, there are countless artists, musicians, writers, and other creative types honing their crafts and performing for audiences. In Delaware County, venues for these creatives are limited, but the Performing Arts Complex Of Delaware County helps to fill that void. This center is designed as an affordable performing arts venue for a variety of performers and groups. Our Delaware County personal injury lawyers love visiting here to support the local arts community. Some of the highlights of the Performing Arts Complex include:

The Actors Focus

The Actors Focus was established in Delaware County in 2013 and runs film and television workshops for kids ages 6-16. If your child has an interest in becoming an actor, director, writer, or anything else related to these industries, this group will help cultivate their interests and guide them towards a future career in their field of choice. As a student in one of their programs, your child will work with other kids to create their own creative projects.

Workshops

The group holds fall, winter, and spring Saturday workshops where kids learn how to act for film and television, make movies, sing and write songs, and other creative pursuits. These sessions run for 7 weeks on Saturdays from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm.

Summer Camp

During the summer, camp takes over for workshops. You have the option to sign your child up for one, two, or three weeks. The summer camp is similar to the workshops, and students are taught how to act for film and television, how to use a film camera, and more.

Workshops and summer camps are a great way to learn new skills and make new friends while developing talent and possibly working towards a future career in film and television.
