2 Montgomery County Construction Workers Injured By Falling Beam

Two construction workers were injured at their job site on the campus of Ursinus College in Collegeville, Montgomery County on Thursday, September 7th. A beam fell onto the site at 5th Avenue and Main Campus Drive. Emergency responders were called to the scene and transported both workers to local trauma centers. There is no further information on their current conditions.

1 Person Injured When SUV Crashes Into West Chester Starbucks

An SUV crashed into a Starbucks at the Dilworthtown Shopping Centre in West Chester on the morning of Monday, September 11th. Police were called to the scene and found a white SUV in the middle of the coffee shop. One person suffered relatively minor injuries in the incident. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.

Drunk Driver Crashes Into 6 Cars, Kills Pedestrian In Philadelphia

Three people were injured and one person was killed after a drunk driver crashed into six cars in the Tacony section of Philadelphia on Sunday, September 10th. Police said the drunk driver was traveling south in a van on Torresdale Avenue when he struck the first vehicle, which crashed into a second vehicle – both parked at the curb.

The drunk driver then crossed over into the northbound lane, where he struck a Ford Sedan. The sedan’s owner, a 73-year-old resident of Tacony, was standing near his vehicle and suffered fatal injuries after being struck.

The driver continued driving south in the northbound lane and struck one more parked car and a Hyundai sedan. Eventually, the van became disabled and the drunk driver attempted to abandon the vehicle. Police arrived at the scene and arrested the driver.

The three injury victims were taken to Aria Torresdale Hospital for treatment of neck and back injuries.
