There’s nothing quite like a good cup of coffee to get you up and moving and ready to start your day. If you’re like our Delaware County personal injury lawyers, grabbing a cup of coffee on your way to the office is a staple of your mornings from Monday through Friday. Some of our favorite places to stop for coffee in the Springfield area include:

Starbucks

A classic chain, and for good reason. Starbucks offers some of the best signature roasts you can find, and they have locations everywhere. You might end up paying more than some of the other places on this list, but in our opinion, the flavors you can get are worth the higher prices. We’ve been stopping in here for years when we’re looking to grab a quick cup on the way to work, with the occasional sandwich or pastry as well.

Some of our favorite items to pair with our Starbucks coffee include:

  • Bacon, Gouda, and egg breakfast sandwich
  • Hearty blueberry oatmeal
  • Spinach, feta, and cage-free egg white breakfast wrap
  • Spicy chorizo, Monterey Jack, and egg breakfast sandwich
  • Caramelized apple pound cake

Wawa

You don’t need to go to a fancy coffee shop to get a good cup of coffee – Wawa coffee has been a community staple in southeastern PA and New Jersey for generations. Anyone who’s lived in this area for any significant amount of time has surely stopped in here for coffee, breakfast, or lunch dozens, if not hundreds of times. The coffee is always fresh, with more than enough flavors to choose from, and even free sometimes!

Some of our favorite flavors of Wawa coffee include:

  • French Vanilla
  • Hazelnut
  • 100% Colombian
  • Cuban Roast
  • Dark Roast

Dunkin’ Donuts

As you can probably tell, we’ve got nothing against major coffee chains. Dunkin’ Donuts is another one of our favorites. We think they offer one of the best selections of coffee and other drinks, along with their famous donuts, breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and other foods.

Some of our favorite beverages at Dunkin’ Donuts include:

  • Hot Latte
  • Vanilla Chai
  • Espresso with Foamed Milk
  • Cappuccino
  • French Vanilla Coffee

Our Community Cup Coffeehouse

Our Community Cup is a different type of coffeehouse. This isn’t the place to go if you’re just looking to stop by for a quick to-go cup. The coffeehouse is designed as a community space for people with disabilities and their families. It’s run by the New Avenue Foundation and Princeton Presbyterian Church and is “pay as you wish.” It’s open just one night per week at the Princeton Presbyterian Church and they hold special events where those with disabilities can interact and learn to appreciate each other’s differences.

The Original Coffee Bar & Roaster

Located just down the street in Morton, the Original Coffee Bar & Roaster is well worth the short drive from Springfield. They’re locally owned and make some of our favorite coffee in Delaware County. There’s also a great atmosphere here and very comfortable furniture if you have the time to sit down for your coffee or want to get some work done using the free WiFi.
