Manufacturer’s Golf & Country Club

This article is sponsored by the personal injury attorneys in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, from Monheit Law.

History

It all started with a group of industrial leaders who decided to found an organization called Manufacturers’ Club of Philadelphia over 120 years ago. Members of the club consisted of fabric and textile manufacturing executives from all around Philadelphia. The Clubhouse was originally constructed in the heart of Center City in 1887, and until its relocation in 1923.

The number of club members rapidly grew, causing a necessary relocation and upgraded facility to a gorgeous suburban neighborhood in Jenkintown that included the addition of a golf course. The 250-acre estate for the Country Club opened to the public in 1925, nearly two years after the ground’s initial purchase.

Amenities

As a member of Manufacturer’s Golf & Country Club, you’re given an assortment of benefits, attractions, and activities to take advantage of, each time you visit the estate. Known as one of the premier golf clubs in Philadelphia, the team is committed and passionate about making sure each member has the best experience playing on their golf course, tennis course, swimming in their immaculate pool or hosting a special event in their Clubhouse.

Like previously mentioned, the Country Club’s Clubhouse is a premier venue to host your special day, whether it’s a spectacular wedding, a corporate meeting, a baby shower, or any other special occasion.
