Vehicle From Philadelphia Hit And Run Turned In To Police

On Friday afternoon, a 5-year-old boy was killed in a hit and run that occurred on the 5000 block of Irving Street in West Philadelphia. Police released the tag number and pictures of the vehicle to the media and on Sunday night the owner of the vehicle spoke with investigators as they towed the car away. The owner of the blue four-door sedan is cooperating with police and no arrests have yet been made. According to detectives, the investigation is still in the early stages. A determination needs to be made as to who was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident and if the car that was turned in is indeed the car that hit and killed the young boy.

Teen Driving Vehicle That Caused A Camden Car Accident

Around 4 am on Saturday, June 23rd a serious accident occurred on Admiral Wilson Boulevard in Camden, NJ when a vehicle hit a utility pole. At least four people were injured in the accident including an infant and three others. Firefighters needed to rescue some of the passengers from the vehicle. Allegedly, an unidentified 14-year-old was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. There are have been no charges filed yet, but this could change later in the week.

Bicyclist Struck and Killed By Dump Truck In North Philadelphia

Around 8:40 am on Friday, a man riding his bicycle made a right turn in the Juniata Park-Feltonville section of Philadelphia when he was fatally struck by a dump truck. The driver of the truck stated that he did not see the cyclist who was taken to Temple University Hospital following the accident. The man later died from his injuries. No arrests have been made in connection to the accident. This is the fourth fatal vehicle crash involving a cyclist in the past year in Philadelphia.
