Did you know that King of Prussia Mall is the largest shopping mall in the United States? While the Mall of America may get more attention and have more floor space, KOP has more retail space than anywhere else. People from all over Pennsylvania and surrounding states travel to this mall to shop at its huge variety of stores. This iconic shopping center has been in operation since 1963. It was originally constructed as two separate buildings called The Plaza and The Court, but in August 2016, a major expansion was completed which completed the two buildings.

Our Montgomery County personal injury lawyers love King of Prussia Mall. Here’s some more information if you’re thinking of stopping by here for some last minute holiday shopping:

Anchor Stores At KOP

King of Prussia Mall is anchored by six prominent retail stores:

  • Nordstrom
  • Macy’s
  • Neiman Marcus
  • Bloomingdale’s
  • Lord & Taylor
  • Dick’s Sporting Goods
  • Primark

Additionally, there are over 400 other retail stores which specialize in a diverse range of products, including many luxury retailers. For many high-end brands, KOP offers the only retail location in the greater Philadelphia area.

Tourism At KOP

For many out-of-town visitors, King of Prussia Mall is a tourist destination. There are several hotels in the surrounding area, and several of them offer mall tourist packages. These usually include mall gift cards. Approximately 20% of the mall’s 22 million annual visitors are tourists.

Maggiano’s Little Italy

Maggiano’s is a chain Italian restaurant which offers all of your traditional Italian favorites. Even though it’s a chain, the atmosphere is homey, classic, and feels authentic. The tables are covered with the tablecloths you’d expect to find at any mom-and-pop eatery in the city, complete with lit candles for added atmosphere. But we look for quality food before atmosphere, and Maggiano’s comes through in this department as well.

We enjoy the following dishes at Maggiano’s:

  • Lighter Take Fettucini Alfredo
  • Bruschetta Bar (choice of bacon, roasted pear, tomato, spiced shrimp, and Italian beef)
  • Italian Sausage Flatbread
  • Italian Tossed Salad
  • Filet Mignon and Asparagus Risotto
