6 Injured In 3-Vehicle Accident In Northeast Philadelphia

At least six people were injured when four vehicles collided around 4 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, December 2nd in Northeast Philadelphia.

According to police, the accident happened after a vehicle stopped in the right lane. The driver of a second vehicle did not see the first vehicle and crashed into the back of it. A third car was also unable to stop in time and collided with the second car.

Firefighters had to free at least one person trapped in the wreckage. Seven ambulances were called to the scene to transport the six injury victims to Aria-Torresdale Hospital. The injuries were all minor.

3 Injured In School Bus Accident In Juniata

Three people were injured when a school bus and a Honda collided in the Juniata neighborhood of Philadelphia on Friday, December 1st. The accident occurred around 6:40 a.m. on East Wyoming Street near Ramona Avenue and Tacony Street Park.

The three injury victims were all on the bus – including the bus driver, a bus attendant, and a 15-year-old student. The bus was traveling to Hancock Middle School’s Labrum campus. All three were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The driver of the Honda was not injured and remained at the scene of the accident.

Construction Worker Died In 4-Story Old City Fall

A 28-year-old man fell four stories while working at a construction site in Old City Philadelphia on Thursday, November 30th. The accident occurred at around 2 p.m. in the unit block of N. Third Treet.

The man was brought to Jefferson Hospital where he was pronounced dead less than an hour after arriving. No further details of the construction accident have been released.

7 Students Injured In Chester School Bus Accident

Seven students and one adult were injured after a minivan and school bus were involved in a sideswipe accident in Chester, Delaware County on Monday morning. The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Tilghman and West 2nd streets.

According to accident investigators, the driver of a blue Nissan Quest was attempting to change lanes and sideswiped a Chester Charter Schools school bus. 7 of the 29 students on the bus were taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center for medical evaluations. All 7 were discharged after several hours.

The driver of the Nissan was also brought to the hospital for injury treatment, but no information was available on that person’s condition.
