Wrong-Way Crash Leads To Arrest of DUI Driver

On Wednesday, August 29, a wrong-way crash led to the arrest of a 33-year-old man for his 5th DUI arrest. The New Castle County man was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Limestone Road and hit another car. He tried to flee the scene of the accident but was apprehended and charged with a total of 13 traffic violations. There were no injuries as a result of the crash.

Fatal Motorcycle Accident In Southwest Philadelphia

On Saturday, August 25, several motorcycles were driving together at around 1:40 am when one driver lost control of their bike. He crashed his motorcycle under the Bartram Bridge and died at the scene of the accident. Another biker was injured in the accident and was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital for treatment. The accident is being investigated and the cause is still unknown.

Fatal Single-Car Crash On Roosevelt Boulevard

Police are investigating a fatal single-car crash that occurred on Saturday, September 1. According to police, at around 6 am on Roosevelt Boulevard the driver of the vehicle drifted from the inner lanes and hit a tree. The vehicle then caught fire. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Several Injured In New Jersey Car Crash

On Sunday, September 2, a car crash occurred on Interstate 295 in Bellmawr, New Jersey. Near the exit for Route 30, a car flipped over onto its roof after the crash occurred. There were several injuries reported but the conditions of the victims are unknown. The accident caused traffic to back up while the cleanup took place.

Fatal Single Car Accident In Delaware County

A fatal car crash occurred on Thursday afternoon in Delaware County and is still under investigation. State Troopers responded to an accident on Gradyville Road in Edgemont and discovered a single car had crashed into a tree. The driver was a 59-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene. There was also a dog in the car who was uninjured. Police were unable to determine if the victim died from injuries sustained in the crash or another medical emergency.
