Fatal Crash In Burlington City, NJ

On Tuesday, July 31, police responded to an accident involving a dump truck at around 11 am. The accident occurred at Route 130 and Columbus Road when a dump truck collided with a van. The driver of the van was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton and a passenger from the van was taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro for treatment. Both victims died from their injuries. The driver of the dump truck did not sustain any injuries. The intersection where the accident took place was shut down for a period of time while the accident was cleared. The dump truck driver has not been charged in the accident and the accident remains under investigation.

Sunday Morning Fatal Car Crash On I-95

Around 7 am on Sunday, July 29, an accident occurred on I-95 between exits 35 and 32 on the southbound side of the highway. The crash happened when a man was driving northbound in the southbound lanes and crashed into another vehicle head-on. The driver of the vehicle going the wrong way was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver and passengers of the other vehicle were taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital and Hahnemann Hospital. One of the passengers died later at the hospital. The highway was shut down for about an hour following the crash and the accident remains under investigation.

On Wednesday, August 1, a fatal motorcycle accident occurred around 3 pm on the Blue Route near Balligomingo Road. The accident only involved a single motorcycle and the driver was killed in the accident. The northbound lanes were closed while the accident was cleared, and the cause of the accident is unclear. The accident is under investigation.
