Serious Car Accident In Feltonville Section Of Philadelphia

Just before 10 am on Monday, February 26, a serious car accident took place in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia. The crash occurred at an intersection on Roosevelt Boulevard where new red light cameras are being installed. The crash shut down the inner lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard and Rising Sun Avenue. There were 3 cars involved in the crash and two women were injured. One woman had to be rescued from the wreckage of the cars. The conditions of the injured women were not stated.

Fatal Car Crash In Chester County

Just after 8 am on Sunday, February 25, a 62-year-old man was driving the wrong way on Route 202 in Chester County. The man crashed his car head-on into a 32-year-old woman’s car flipping it over and trapping her inside. The man and his car went off the shoulder of the road and both died from their injuries at the scene of the accident. The crash caused Route 202 to be closed until 4 pm.

Accident That Caused Trucker’s Death Is Being Investigated

On February 21, a truck driver was driving through the Lehigh Tunnel on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, near Slatington when a section of electrical conduit fell through the truck windshield and striking him in the head. The truck coasted to a stop the accident resulted in the driver’s death. The coroner told his family that his death would have occurred instantly. There was damage to several other vehicles from debris, and the southbound lanes of the Northeast Extension on the PA Turnpike were shut down. Federal Investigators are looking into the man’s death.
